Description
Learn to use photosensitive polymer for printmaking on this 2 day specialist course.
Photo polymer is a light sensitive material that, once exposed to UV, can be developed in tap water therefore needing no harmful chemicals for processing. It is used widely by fine artists, graphic designers and photographers to make intaglio and relief prints on paper.
Using hand drawn images and/or photographs, you will learn to expose, develop and print photopolymer plates and will print a small edition of your artwork onto paper. You’ll leave with the understanding and practical experience of preparing your artwork and processing, inking, and printing plates.
At the end of the course you’ll take all your work home with you.
This specialist course is suitable for all artists, creatives, photographers, and those with some previous printmaking experience who wish to expand their skills.
