Introduction to Risograph Prep, Printing, and Collage in Photoshop

Introduction to Risograph Prep, Printing, and Collage in Photoshop

£110.00

Description

Join this one day introduction to Risograph collage techniques, where you’ll learn to use a Risograph printer, use digital textures with Mono-print techniques, and explore the art of digital collage in Adobe Photoshop.

We’ll start in the traditional media realm, using ‘found’ ink sheets from the Riso printer to make marks and textures using Mono-print techniques. Then we’ll move on to digitising your images, and gather inspiration for texture and depth in our campus gardens.

We’ll then look at technical skills in Photoshop using Masks, Layers, and Blend Modes and will create collages either with a layers technique or a split channel process, to then create plates for Risograph printing.
At the end of the course you’ll take home:
• 20 Duotone split Risograph prints of your work
• 1 digital print of your original collage for comparison

Suitable for all adults with no prior experience required.
