This is a 2-day Bookbinding for improvers course led by renowned master bookbinder Tom O’Reilly at Falmouth University.

This course runs over two full days at our Penryn Campus on Saturday 29th November and Saturday 6th December 2025. It is suitable for all levels but we recommend that you have done our 1-day introductory course first. Over the two days, Tom will guide students through various aspects of hand book binding incorporating gold foil embossing and slip case making. Students will produce small hand-bound notebook and slip case.

During your course you’ll understand the principles behind Bookbinding, jump into making and leave with your very own bound book in cloth or leather, perfect for personalised stories, artwork, journals for yourself or as a gift.
