Assembly Space Workshops 10th and 11th FebruaryDescriptionBuilding with Biomaterials A chance to get building – hands on with experts. You can choose either workshop on either day or choose both for a combined ticket with a discount. We ask that you don’t book the same workshop on both days to give others a chance. There are 10 places on each workshop per day. The cut off for booking is 6th Feb. You will need to complete the H&S form with Allergies etc after your ticket is reserved to secure your place. Price is £60 for one day or £110 for 2 days Each day there will be a tour at the beginning of the session The ticket includes a lunch feast on both days put together by Rory Sheehan- a farm to fork chef and collaborator with the group. The gathering of the team around food and conversation is part of the experience. The 2 workshops run in parallel you will explore the techniques by actively making and learning about experimentation and methods of documenting this. Important notes: First come, first served, if we have high demand, we may be able to source additional facilitators. You will need to make your own independent travel arrangements to get there and back (approx. 1 hour drive) it is a good idea try and to share cars. Watering Lane Nursery Lobbs Shop St Austell Cornwall PL26 6BE The activity will take place inside a greenhouse so its sheltered and not at the outside temperature but it will include and talk and tour and a safety briefing of the site and the projects being developed there. Requirements Hi-vis bibs and PPE will be provided. Lime is a caustic material. There is not a requirement for safety boots but you will be working with natural and muddy materials and you should be prepared for this and the tour and dress for site working with robust footwear.
