Detailed Description

This is the non-refundable payment of £45 for the third year BA Illustration study visit to London, 31 March – 04 April 2025. This study visit is available to third year students.

Provided you make your payment no later than the deadline of 5pm on 14th February 2025 and you have completed a Registration Form at the link also provided to you, this payment will secure your place on the study visit. The registration form will ask for further details about your individually booked accomodation and travel. This will need to be completed no later than Monday 17th March (two weeks before the trip).

If you are ineligible to attend this study visit, payment will not reserve you a place on the visit, and therefore your payment will be refunded.

The London trip 2025 is an opportunity for you to attend industry presentations and present your portfolios to a range of London based publishers, art directors and studios. The aim is to gain an in depth insight into different elements of the illustration and wider creative industries, understand what potential clients are looking for in your work, and broaden your horizons about the potential paths to take after graduation. There will also be a collaboration day consisting of workshops, talks and a social event with illustration students from Kingston University.

Your £45 is a contribution toward the costs and staffing costs of making this trip happen.

You will need to arrange and pay for your travel and accommodation and allow money for all meals and public transport during your trip.

The university strongly recommends that you ensure you have travel insurance that covers you and your belongings while away from home.

We also strongly recommend that you only purchase refundable or flexible travel tickets and accommodation in case your plans later become affected by illness or external industrial action.

Should the trip not go ahead, for any reason, Falmouth University cannot be held liable for costs you have incurred concerning your planning for this trip.

By making this payment you agree to the terms and conditions outlined on the Registration Form.
