Detailed Description

The New Designers Exhibition offers you the opportunity to exhibit your work and collaboratively showcase the work of your year group in London.

It will provide a platform for you to promote your work to Industry professionals and to network with Art Directors visiting the exhibition. In addition, it opens up potential scope for you to use this exhibition week to arrange portfolio reviews with London-based Art Directors, using the knowledge gained in the Professional Practice Module IL306. 

What you will need to do to take part:

• Pay a £30 deposit by midday 10 January 2025.
• Pay a £45 balance by midday 26 March 2025.
• Produce and submit your work according to the brief requirements and deadlines.
• Make your own travel and accommodation arrangements to be able to attend the exhibition if possible (this is not included in the above fee).

Your course team will:

• Oversee the planning of the show.
• Make all arrangements for the show regarding hiring the venue, transporting the work and hanging the show.
• Establish the overarching theme, brief and design of the show, informed by the outcomes of the collaborative workshops with you.
• Curate and hang the show with help from exhibiting students.
• Promote the show to industry.
